In short: Domino Effect has no accounts and I don't collect any personal information myself. Your progress is saved only on your device. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device data to show and measure those ads — you're asked for consent where the law requires it, and you can change your choice at any time.
Who this applies to
This policy covers the mobile game Domino Effect (the "app") for iOS and Android, developed and published by Kevin Javier Zambrano Valverde, Cuenca, Ecuador ("I", "me"). If you have any question about it, write to [email protected].
Information stored on your device
To keep your progress, the app saves a few values locally on your phone. They never leave your device and are not sent to me or to anyone else:
Uninstalling the app deletes all of this. The in-game points have no real-money value, and the app has no in-app purchases.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads (full-screen ads between games, and optional rewarded ads that give you in-game points). These ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show, limit and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, such as the advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID on Android) where you allow it;
- Your IP address and an approximate location derived from it;
- Device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- Interactions with ads (views, clicks) and diagnostic data such as crashes and performance.
Google processes this data under its own policies. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Your consent and choices
- Europe, the UK and Switzerland: before any ad is loaded, the app shows Google's consent message, where you choose whether your data may be used for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from the Privacy button in the game's Options screen.
- United States: where state privacy laws apply (such as California), sharing data with advertising partners can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. The app shows Google's message where you can choose Don't sell or share my data, and you can change it later from the same Privacy button in Options.
- iPhone and iPad: the app asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you don't allow it, the advertising ID isn't shared and you'll see non-personalised ads. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's Google settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads depending on the device).
- Anywhere: you can see and control how Google personalises ads at adssettings.google.com.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or privacy laws in California and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Since I don't hold any personal data about you, those requests are handled by Google for advertising data; I'm happy to help with any question at the address above.
What I don't do
- I don't ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
- There are no accounts, no chat and no way to share personal information with other players.
- I don't sell your personal information myself, and I don't run my own analytics or servers for the app. Data shared with Google for advertising is covered by the choices above.
Children
Domino Effect is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact me and I'll help you get it removed.
Security and retention
Data saved by the app stays on your device until you uninstall it. Data collected by Google for advertising is kept and protected according to Google's policies linked above.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example a new service is added), I'll update this page and its effective date. The current version is always available at this address.
